Contact Us At Mind’s Eye Fabrication we believe in the lost idea of personalized service. We will listen closely to your needs and create solutions tailored for you. We will make every effort to make sure you know exactly what you’ll be getting and at what price.
In preliminary inquiries we can provide you with a rough estimate to give you an idea of whether you want to proceed or not. If you choose to proceed, we will refine your design and, in most cases, be able to provide you with a hard quote.
We will clearly communicate if any cost is an estimate or a quote. Furthermore, we will explain what contingencies upon which an estimate may change. Contingencies you will not be charged for are those that are in our control (errors on our part). When your project requires an estimate we will work hard to ensure that the final bill you get is a pleasant surprise.

Estimates vs. Quotes An estimate is an approximate cost of a good or service. A quote is the exact cost of a good or service (excluding sales tax). We will always work diligently to provide you a quote whenever possible. If an estimate is required we will tell you on which factors it depends. Some examples include design changes or a site that is not prepared as agreed upon.
While the complex world we live in sometimes requires estimates, we believe too many companies charge customers for their own mistakes or are even deceptive in their initial bid just to get the customer’s business. At Mind’s Eye Fabrication, we believe if we underestimate the cost of a material we eat it not you. If it takes us longer to fabricate than we thought, we eat it, not you. However, we can’t make our quotes indefinite. Because the price of raw materials fluctuates over time, we can only guarantee our quotes for thirty (30) days from the time we provide the quote to your acceptance of it. We’re sorry any inconvenience and will gladly provide new numbers if you like.
Estimates for Computer Aided Design (CAD) for patent drawings and patent artwork will necessarily have to remain vague. You should not discuss your idea with anyone without a signed nondisclosure agreement (then only with parties assisting you with the patent application process). Without knowing the full details (extent of drafting required) we can’t provide more than ballpark estimates. We may ask you vague questions like the number of parts, number of connections etc. to give you a general idea of cost. But leave the specifics out until nondisclosures are signed. |
